Subject: dump the dynomax???
IP: Logged

Message:
I recently installed a dynomax superturbo 17749 and a k&n air filter on my '01 RC 4x4 which gave me very noticable gains over stock. The dynomax performs well, but I was hoping for a little more noticable sound. I am considering a Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 series. Has anyone heard both on our trucks? What are the differences? I really don't want to spend the money if the DF 50 isn't going to have more presence than the dynomax. I would really appreciate any help or suggestions, thanks

Don't waste the money. You have a good muffler now. If you REALLY want more noise and don't mind the in cab noise either, donkey d**k your exhaust right after the muffler. It will increase horse, noise and vibration. This is what my friend runs on his race truck but I would hesitate doing it on a street ride because of the increased volume.

Just my 3.9 cents.
