99 dakota V6- my OEM muffler is done and obviously looking
for a replacement, probably going with the 40 series
flowmaster-
will it give me more HP's and fuel economy?
and does it need to be welded on ? can anyone let me know what
I have to do to install

The flowmaster 40 series will be very load inside and outside the cab to the point of being very obnoxious. If you want performance and it still being loud when you get on it go with the 50 series. I think you would be much happier with the 50 series, consider neighbors and the neighborhood you live in.

i ran the gibson... quiet in the cab but had a nice rumble not a v8 but still a rumble

as for any power gains none will be felt unless u opened up the intake and i never seen a gain in mpg... power only came in after some intake side mods

If its same dimensions as the old oem muffler u can cut off old oem muffler then bolt up new one

Welding is only needed if u want it
