This address is temporary so if you wish to keep it for future reference, I suggest printing it out or saving it...it will not be permanently removed, but I'll be switching the location of it on my server eventually and then this address will no longer work.

Great job, GB! Its people like you that make it easier for the rest of us slobs. I have printed your web page as a PDF and if I can figure out how to, I will make it available to this website. Any suggestions?

Thanks...it's people like me who forget to take pics the first time and just happen to have enough time on their hands (aka no life) to basically redo the mod in order to make a decent how-to. lol

Email it to Mark (the site owner)...not sure of his email addy. I'm thinking it's just mark@dodgedakotas.com, but I'm not positive. I'll see if I can find it.

GB, good job. i did that mod on my '00 a couple months ago. i'm wondering though, if i have a freak truck or not. mine's a manual tranny and my crank sensor is plastic w/ metal inserts where the bolts are. like the TPS is made. i wonder if DC used metal housing for the sensors on the auto tranny's only? i also found it easy to get to my sensor from underneath the truck. must be a manual tranny thing.

Thanks guys...

Daddio...I had heard the brackets being metal/plastic was an age thing, but since mine's a 98 and yours is a 2000, that kinda kills that theory. Could be auto/manual thing... my stock one which I never showed in the how-to looked identical to the new one.

xmr...nice to know you can get em for less than 2.50 each. lol. I am glad my friend was working for the GM dealer when I did the mod since I paid only $.65 per clip...yesterday was his last day working there so I guess I made good timing.
