jus your average dak owner looking to find some answers, all features on my truck are standard(manual windows, mirros, seatbelt, locks...) i have driven over 74k, ran off the road once(fixed) and a minor fender bender(fixed). i have a spray-in/on bedliner w/plastic caps on the railing and tailgate, also bought the tornado fuel saver(cant tell if it works) and a high-performance air filter. as you can see i havent done much with my dak, have had some advice as to what i should do w/ mine to get better overall performance...but would like more info as to what other options to add, nothing too serious and at the same time would like it to be rather EZ(nothing that i'd have to take to someone and pay to get it put in/on) i know to get a cold-air intake(duno what one tho) and either a flowmaster or what is the other one(s) called? hopefully i'll be able to drive my dak w/mods b4 i deploy next month, any suggestons and comments will be appreciated...or you can jus send me an email, mailto:fcf81m@netzero.com

Well you could prolly change the cap and rotor to the brass contact ones and change the plugs to autolites and change the wires to msd 8.5mm add a flowmaster 40 super series muffler and add the k&n or the air raid intake system, i don't know how mechanically inclined you are but, i know i'm not and i put all those mods myself on my dak, except for the muffler wich i had the local shop do it, in the long run if you want alittle more power you could change the throttlebody to a v8 one, change the t-stat to a 180 robert shaw add headers relocate yer iat add an msd ignition system and a new power coil theres proll more you could do to it but all those i mentioned are mostly what i have done to my 2000 quad cab 3.9l v6 but you might want to check other postes just to see what others have done to theres anyhoo have fun with it.
