Man if I saw a V6 that looked like an R/T I would laugh my ass off. What is the point of modifying your Dakota if you use Dodge parts? It would have been better to buy the R/T from the beginning. Anyway, here's my ride:

The RT rims and suspension are nice, but actually putting RT decals and such on your truck makes you a poser and gives the REAL RT guys a reason to spank your a$$!

Hey bernd... how do you like the 2/3 drop you got from Hotchkis? I was looking into getting that kit for mine....if you don't mind me asking..how much did it run?
i was also wondering if the leaf spring replacements would intefere with my exhaust since it exits right under them behind the tires?
thanks

Hey, there be new boards here - too cool! Thanks DodgeDakotas.com!

Mods List
---------
K&N Cold Air Intake
MSD Superconductor Wires
Accel coil, cap & rotor
Gibson Superflow muffler (only)
Autolite Plugs
IAT Adjuster
Jet 180 Thermostat

blueballs, I haven't touched a dyno. K&N thrills the seat of pants in the winter, MSD wires gave 1.5 mpg, IAT Adjuster is quite noticeable in hot weather (Got it on Bernd - woulda called but I have NO time so I threw it in line in 10 minutes finally Sunday). Gibson actually stole some low end w/nothing else making any difference that I can confirm isn't psychological.

and IAT adjuster (Intake Air Temperature) tricks your trucks computer into thinking that the air coming in through the intake is cooler than it actually is. the computer then adds more fuel to the mixture and ups the timing 2-3 degrees. check out speedtweeks.com for more info on the product and what not.

Kota: I love the new suspension. Excellent ride, not a "kidney buster" or bouncy, and handles really nice at 100mph. (Uhhhh...not that i've done that or anything like that...ehehehehe). On the exhaust, I went to a JBA Single side exit (3" pipe)...sounds actually better than my Flowmaster system. I had to do this as the exhaust system was configured for the lift...after it was lowered, the tips were hitting the rear fenders.

If anyone cares...I have the "Mopar Accessory" rims...not the R/T rims. (Same identical look, different part number, and about $300 less than an actual R/T rim.) ;)

IAT Adjuster...works well. http://www.speedtweaks.net.

those bosche plugs are great if enjoy gettin butt raped and spending $5 per plug. the autolites are just good plugs that seem to do well in the magnum trucks (and they don't cost $50 for a set). i just put my 3923's in along with a set of taylor 8mm wires and i've noticed a bit of an increase in gas milage, and MUCH less hesitation, along w/ a smoother idle.

Greg: The IAT Adjuster does basically the same thing as the Jet Chip...it modified the IAT signal. Granted, the Jet claims to improve shift points but I can't say anything about that as I drive a 5-Speed (used to have a Jet Stage-II in my V6 years ago...worked well back then).

The other thing to keep in mind on the "Chips" out there is that they are designed to operate with a 90% stock engine (Cold Air Intake, 180 T'Stat, and free-flow exhaust). Once you add anything else such as a Supercharger, different injectors, shift kit (auto), Nitrous, Cam, Heads, etc...they don't work anymore.
