Has anyone priced out the metallic raised emblems that say Dodge and 4x4 that come on the new Ram 1500. They look pretty cool, and if they are an adhesive back would go right on the back of the Dak.

I have one of them on my truck - 5 months ago they cost about $40 retail, I got mine through John Mercedes at www.southeastrt.com, he's the best source for Mopar parts.

1. Anyone interested in chrome emblems, go to your local Dodge dealership. For the 2002 year, almost every vehicle in their entire inventory comes with raised chrome badges instead of decals. Find a vehicle with the script you like, and have the parts guy find out what the part # is. Send that part # to John Mercedes at www.southeastrt.com and save a lot of money while supporting Dakota/Durango-friendly retailers.
2. Yes, I live in the big evil tourist trap itself. Like most people who live here, I avoid the strip like the plague unless company is in town, or I feel like doing a traffic-snarled cruise in the R/T. Drop me a line if you want any pointers for what to see in town.
