Cervinis' hoods fit great and are of great quality, but they still have yet to develop the ram air kit for it. Which when I purchased mine two years ago I was told it would be out in two months. There customer service after purchase is about as good as there technical staff who is supposed to be hard at work on the Ram Air kit. Just my two cents.

Does anyone have any GOOD pics of either the Shaker or Cervini's ram-air hood...Pro Glass's pics of the Shaker are pretty poor. Cervini's site pix are great...if you're on LSD. I just want to see some shots of either/both so I can get off the fence and commit to one or the other.
Thanks all for your help!

Shaker pics on my website. A few anyway. I'm anxious to get it back on after my body lift! Then I'll have more pics. ;o)

Check the "exterior pics" page ...

You cannot go wrong with the shaker. I had a Cervinis hood on my F150 (past rides page on the website) and it looked great but I never cared for the fact it used the factory airbox connected to the ram air ductwork.

You might also check out AAR. Their quality is excellent. I've used 2 diff. styles on my Gen II and I know they have some for the Gen III. See www.aarqualityfiberglass.com

This might be a dumb question, but wouldn't the shaker hood allow rain/snow into the TB?

Wow! man do i like what i see. really! i have to give you props for your truck. You know you can buy LED amber bulbs for the front, that way you don't see the amber still. I did that and it looks a lot better. I mean if your gonna get the clears, make it look clear right? If you take my advise though you will need to buy new wire harnesses, because they do not make a direct application for dodges. I'm interseted to know, who makes that hood, and for how much? That darker area just infront of the intake, did you paint that? And i have the same bumper as you do, but where did you get the speed grilles to match? I have them for the top, but not the bottom. I wish i did though. Talk to you lata.

WELL........ Its not all that bad!!! Don't get me wrong, living in the backwoods of mizzourah, my filter does get dirty alot quicker than most..... but its not like every weekend chore or anything. I usually clean my filter every second month due to the dirt roads.

MightyDakSTX= Drove mine through rain, sleet, snow, soo far no problem. I also heard that if it gets too cold outside, your TB will ....um... frost up... and wont run at all. I did that to my 65 beetle but I never had that happen this winter to the dak . The only problem I had was the rear end kept breakin loose .... "Starsky & Hutch" Style
