Has anyone replaced the Infinity speakers with Infinity Kappas and still used the stock 160 Watt amp that comes with the system? Does it work well?

They will definitley be an improvment, but why spend that money on such nice speakers without an amp? They will never perform up to their capabilities without one...If u plan on adding an amp in the future, the buy the kappas

That was the plan. Speakers now, amp later. Do many people replace the amp while keeping the factory head unit? Is there a line-level converter that is needed to connect the stock head to an aftermarket amp? Where is a good place to get one, if needed?
