 Subject: gettin of the wiper blade arms

can ne one help me. how do u get off the wiper blade arms on a 96 dakota so i can take off that peice that the windshield washer spray nozzles are on since they aint on the hood like on most of the other trucks. i had got some of the ones with the led lights in them but that peice with them on there i cant get off because those damn wiper arms aint letin me take it off enough to change them.

Dont know how to get the arms off, but be carful if you install those lights, low flying planes could mistaken your dak for a runway :)

All you have to do to remove the arms is pull the little metal tab (the closest I came come to describing it) it holds the wiper arm away from the window when its pulled out. It also holds the wiper arm on when its pushed back into place. I pulled out the tab and then let the arm down on it. So that the wiped blade was held away from the window. I then used one hand on the wiper arm and one at the base and wiggled it off. Making sure to keep pressure on that tab so it wouldn't pop back in. Hope this helps.
