i just ordered a set from 4apc.com steve is his hame. they are like euros and from what steve said they are an eye catcher than the clear corners. i ordered mines a couple of days ago. i'll post a pix when i install them.
not on the subject..... how do you like your FMS injectors? did you feel any difference? mines is coming in at the end of the week...... you have any hinters for installing them? reply when you get the chance.

Scotty, the FMS injectors were a good buy. They really picked up the mid-range, the TB I put on a couple of weeks beforehand sharpened up the low-range, so it is really snappy.
Here are the install instructions:
"As far as the install, super easy. 4 bolts that hold the fuel rail down, lift up on both rails rocking them gently back and forth until the o-rings come up out of the intake(the throttle linkage may get in the way slightly, I worked around it, some may rather just pull the TB as easy as that is). Do one injector at a time, popping the clip off that holds it to the rail, rock it gently back and forth 'til it comes out. Lube the new injector slightly(I used WD40), insert back into the rail and re-install the clip.
Then lube the bottom o-rings slightly, slide all of them into their holes and rock gently back down into place, re-install the 4 fuel rail bolts and your done! Oh, and check for any leaks. "

Hey Lesley,
I just got 'em off eBay also, probably the same vendor - Mr Taillight out of Mt Gilead, OH? I asked him if they were a clean install (no wire splicing) and he replied "pop the old ones out, replace the bulbs, pop the new ones in". That made it a done deal:-)

Yeah, I think they'll look real good on our black Daks, hehe! I see there's a black replacement valence on eBay also, contemplatin' on grabbing that also so I can get rid of the ugly grey thing. LOL!

Do the clear corners glass have a different texture of glass from the headlight? I'm thinking the headlight glass and the clear corner glass textures/pattern will clash. Do they look OK next to each other? I guess there are diferent glass textures, I've seen some clear and smooth and some with a diamond pattern simular to the headlight. Anyone have some close up installed pics?

Fillupd, check on ebay, they have closeups. Also, check the driving light, or fog lights, the closeups have clear corners.

Got 'em!
Clean install, no splicing. Real EZ.
Make sure you have a thin T10 screwdriver handy.
Put 3 amber bulbs in each light and they look excellent, don't clash at all with stock headlights, IMO.

There were only two 1157 push-in amber bulbs in the box with my lights. (you need 4) You might also want to replace the 2 smaller stock clear push-in flashbulb sized bulbs with amber. I initially went with the two 1157 ambers and the small clear at the corner (non flashing) and it didn't look right so I bought 2 small ambers to replace the clears. I couldn't read the numbers off these small bulbs, sorry they're microscopic.
Also make sure you have a torx T10 screwdriver to remove the single screw holding each light fixture in. I didn't have a screwdriver, had a torx socket set with torx inserts in 1/4 in. drive sockets. I had to remove the insert and place it in a thin magnetic holder that I use in my cordless drill and this setup worked perfectly for me to remove and reinstall these flimsy screws. You might get by with a 5/16 nutdriver/ T10 insert combo also since I believe the insert size is 5/16.

The only problem with these lights is they look silly unless you have the diamondback euro headlights. If you don't mind waiting CAR WEAR will be releasing there version of the euro corners along with the euro headlights. I will be selling these as package deals and seperatly. I'll keep everyone updated.

There is another vendor on eBay selling those black valences for Gen III daks starting at $80 with a "buy it now" of $90. He charges a $15 "handling" charge for crating up the part. I also dislike the grey valence and was going to snatch this up myself but I see someone has bid on it. He has had a few of these up for auction so I think there will probably be another starting soon.

I'm going to fire off a few pics at ya. In all three pics the parking lights are on. Sorry didn't take any with the lights off - DUH! I installed the amber bulbs to be legal. I'd take another but it's raining here today and you know how those digital cameras like the rain. It's supposed to clear up tommorrow so if you want I'll take a couple more with the lights off and send 'em to ya.

BlackDak02, thanks for the pics. I am glad to know your lights were on, if you get a chance please do take some more pics. I would like a closeup to see how the diamonds compare to the regular clear lens. I think they would look great on my black dak too.

Yeah, I know customs is a PITA, used to have to deal with it myself delivering freight into & out of Canada. Later on though they came up with a bar code system that seemed to expedite border crossings so there was no more hassles. Maybe they found teesee flys in your lights, LOL.
Rascal, weather permitting, I'll send you some more pics tomorrow. When I was installing them I planned to take a pic with the one side stock and the other clear. They went in so easy though that I breezed through the install and forgot about it till I finished. I'm no 'puter expert but I'll see if I can toy with my photo editing software and create a before/after pic.

Wish I'd seen your post a little earlier.
I spent two hours setting up my website. For two years I've had "free" webspace through my ISP. Being a crash & burn, self-taught, trial & error 'puter illiterate type I avoided utilizing this space until now. Actually it was easy and it's up & running now. The only problem is the way it's setup people can figure out my main E-mail address and I don't get any spam now and I'm not looking for any if you know what I mean. So until I can figure how to set it up different I'm gonna leave it in the dark. I'll eventually figure it out.
I set up the Ofoto album and they want you to "invite" people to view your albums through their E-mail address. I tried to direct link through the album page and tried it after I signed out and it worked. But then I tried again ten minutes later and no go so I guess I have to do it their way. You've got mail!
