I got the street scence grille inserts for christmas, I only recieved the top portion for the grille. I want to order the bumper inserts also the only problem is I have the tow package and I was told it will not work. My question is has anyone tried to put one on anyway and did it work? I really don't want to put the top part on without the lower bumper inserts too

I have factory tow package also, there is just less room to get your hands in there due to tranny cooler in front of radiator. They go on with some scraped knuckles and look awesome with both grille and valance done up. Go for it!

Thank's for the encouragement 2THEXTRM that's what I wanted to hear. I was probaly going to think of a way to rig it up anyway but I guess it sounds like I might just settle on cusing during installation! Thanks Buddy

I read somewhere in this forum that the front valence is real easy to remove.

if is 2001+, it is extremely easy to remove, only 4 bolts on top of bumper, takes about 2 minutes with disconnection of fog light harness's if you have them. 2000 and older have a total of eight bolts I believe, 4 on top and 2 on each side of frame underneath to attach brace brackets. You could save some time removing bumper for SS install if Tranny cooler is in the way.
