Just wanted to say that I got my clear corners delivered today at work. I put them in during my 15 minute afternoon break, and had time left over to admire them. They look really good and the were a snap to install. Can't wait to get off work and try them out. It was an easy installation.

Are they plug & play? I want to get some clear corners but i do not want to have to cut any wires. Are there any brands that just truly bolt on?

I got mine at www.4customrides.com. They were plug and play. no cutting wires or anything. A real breeze to put in. Like I said, did it on my break at work with time to spare. Hardest part was finding a person here with a number 10 torx screwdriver. A real piece of cake. I have the deep amethist color on my truck and it looks really good. I left in the clear bulbs...no way was I going to put in amber colored bulbs.

As far as the lenses themselves are concerned, they fit the same from 1997-2002. However, one of the major manufacturers (I believe APC is the culprit) made a mistake in the molding for the outermost parking light socket. When you try to plug it in, you'll find that the socket is bigger than the plug. They corrected this by shipping a replacement plug that would fit in the socket, but you have to cut the old one off and splice the new one in. The bulbs remain the same.

If any of you order these and get stuck (they don't come with instructions) I have a pictorial installation guide on my website on the aftermarket accessories page.

Personally, I think it was STUPID of them to not cut the hole on the outer parking light moulding so that you could use the factory harness, but just change it to an amber bulb from the stock clear bulb...

I wonder what "genius" thought that changing the molding on the aftermarket corners for the clear lights was a "good thing"?
