take a look at www.dakotafever.com I have shaved the handles, and the rear end also to take out all the lines, and also the Plastic divider above the club cab window. Depends on where you go, i would recomend a hotrod shop, they do it all the time. Cost spent for a normal customer would probably run around 400 for parts and labor for the doors and tailgate, and then figure at least another 300-500 to repaint the doors and tailgate including prepping. Of course i did all the work myself in my shop so i saved a lot, so let me know if you do it and i can get you all the kits for cost so you dont have to pay the high mark-up places may/and usually charge.

my friend has a 2000 ranger all shaved up, and his door popers are activated by his alarm and one day his battery died and he couldent get into his truck.

Tim, some other questions for you. just wondering why did you shave the doors but not the emblems?
also, I know thats not a 3/5 drop, so did you 'bagg it, or is it computer generated?

Eric

All the pics of it lowered and with the shaved handles look like a good photoshop edit to me and since the filenames for at least on of the pics has adobe in the name makes it seem like his "bagged and shaved" look are all computer reditions of what he would like it to look like. If you have performed these mods then please update your website with new pics because I woudl like to see what it really looks like. Of course it didn't cost you anything to do on your computer

Yes those pictures where from photoshop back in october to get some ideas before i went into the project of baggin it versus a 4/6 drop on my current 3/5. Recently i just finished with the baggin - Aim/Chassis tech here in phoenix did most of the fabrication work as they have on a few other dakotas seen in truckin magazine. As far as the roofrails cracking they shouldnt, its only been 3 weeks since that was finished though, so i will have to keep you updated to see what happens. I will have to post some updated pictures of the finished work here in a few days to show you what it really looks like, just a slight difference than the photoshop work, because the r/t rims backspacing does not allow them to fully tuck- so we put r/t flares on and did a little body work to the underwrap of the wheelwell to allow them to tuck better. Ill have some pix posted here shortly.
