Hi Everyone. Well Guess Freaking What??

Well I Bought These Seat Covers from AutoAnything.com for $279.95.
It took about a month to get to me and when I got them and opened the box a couple weeks ago Wet Okole Accidentally put their Drop Ship Invoice Inside my package which I wasnt suppose to get and on their Invoice to AutoAnything the total Charge was $173.00 and $3.50 for Shipping.

So AutoAnything made Over $100 on me when my wife bought me these for X-Mas. I Called Wet Okole and told them what had happened and pretty much all they said was, "Yup thats what they cost for Front Seat Covers with Center Fold Down Arm Rest." I Called AutoAnything to see if I could possibly get any type of Money Back on these Seat Covers because I feel making Over $100 on me which is over 1/3rd the Price of the Seat Covers Themselves was just to Much Money to be Making and they told me and I Quote "Sir I'm sorry you feel you paid to much for your seat covers, We have to make a living too, Would You like to return these?" There was much more that was said but that was a direct quote from the customer service manager, I Forgot her name but she had a really high pitched annoying kick her in the mouth voice.

So,... If you feel like getting ripped off Go Ahead and Buy Them. If you Don't, Then Buyer Beware, If you feel this is a Fair Price then thats up to you also, I just think it's to much money to make off 1 Item.

Anyway,... Here's some pictures of the seat covers installed into my Dakota.
Let me know what you think of them.

Jim.

Sorry to say, but it seems like you're getting upset over nothing. To you, it seems unfair that they are making a lot of money off of you but, while it sounds bad, they do have to make a living.

My friend owns a business and does the same-- something that costs him $4 he sells for $29.99 and people buy it without complaining. Why?--Because they are buying something they want/need and don't know the dealers cost.

You purchased those seat covers willingly; just because you discovered something that you shouldn't have known you became upset. Whats the difference in them making $100 off you, my friend making $26 on a $4 product, or car dealers making thousands when they sell a car... Some times being left in the dark is better than knowing the truth... Thats Life

If you bought the covers for $279.00, then you obviously felt they were worth it. It should make no difference what they cost the guy you bought them from.

The only person you should be upset with is yourself. If you really cared about your money, you would investigate any purchase extensively prior to buying anything. See how far the rabbit hole goes.

Example, I found this pancake flour that I really loved at an expensive food store, charging me $22 a pound. I thought it was good, but not that good to pay another $22 for it. I found distributors, then I found the factory. Thankfully the factory was willing to ship me a case of flour directly. Which isn't always the case with most products but it is the extreme to how far you can go.

The result, I paid $3 a pound for the flour, and have enough of it to last me a whole year.

Learn what you will of my example, and spend in dollars what you dont.

having been a businessman in the past, I bought stuff wholesale from the maker and followed their suggested retail price. I bought for $5.00 and sold for $10.00. That's the way businesses work. And they have to do that to cover their overhead.
