I just cannot resist responding to people who write in on this subject. There was one on here a couple of years back you might want to check out. Anyway, I hope your truck is old enough to shave. Mine hasn't grown any hair yet. I think that when it does I will let it grow because I live in an area with cold winters.

If you do shave it just remember to use Gillette... the best a man can get!

I have not found an automotive barber yet. My dad is a retired autobody repairman. Guess I could ask him. He would probably say, "Whatever do you want to do that for?"

If I did shave the hair off, I would have to put a sunscreen on my Dak. Problem is there are none for trucks, only for cars. After looking at all the paint protection items I found only CARnuba wax, absolutely no TRUCKnuba wax. Guess the hair stays on year round.

Ok Ok... in all seriousness>>
You don't need to get the power windows/locks. When I had mine installed the guy who installed it just jammed the locking mechanism so that the door was always unlocked (with no door handle you don't have to worry about locks)

Also, I would probably recommend an AutoLoc system, they are a little more expensive, but it is worth it and if you plan on installing it yourself, the AutoLoc kit is a lot easier.
