Would like to see what you all think. I bought a set of Zoops billet wiper arms and modified them for my Dodge Dakota. Here is a link to a close up Pic.

That's really neat! Kinda like on '87-'96 Dakotas with that style arm and blade. Only in zootier billet aluminum and stainless...

How about describing how ya did it? Looks like you reused the lower part of the stock arm, but with the paint stripped. How'd you marry it all together??

They don't look like billet pieces. They look stamped.

Not wanting to tear apart my wiper arms on my Dakota, I spent 20 bucks at the local junk yard and picked up a used set. I cut the bottom mounting part out of the used set. The new wiper arms just unscrew apart. The problem that I had was that the springs on the underside did not fit. I used my dremel to cut away on the bottom parts so that the springs could be streached and connected to the new wiper arms. The arms themselves needed to be shaped so they would apply preasure on the blades to make good contact with the window. And the length will have to be cut for each arm. Once cut I used my bench vice and a hammer to shape them. For the color of the bottom part, I used my dremel again and sanded them to bare metal and gave them a brushed look and then 5 coats of clear coat. Put them back together and did the final mounting.
