I've been thinking about doing a completely custom gauge cluster. There are some really slick gauges out there that could make a sick cluster. I already have a NuImage overlay and that's alright, I just want something different. There are three problems that have kept me from tackling this project. One: The odometer, two: the gear indicator(I have an 01 R/T with the digital odometer and gear indicator) and third the idiot lights. Now the idiot lights I'm not all that concerned with, with the exception of the engine light. I would like to know when my PCM has kicked a fault. As far as the odometer goes. Are there legal issues with tampering with it? Does someone need to certify the miles if it is altered? Is it possible to transfer the display to another cluster or are they hard-wired? Stuff like that. If anyone has done or knows someone who has done a complete cluster I would really like the input. Thanks
