I also thought about putting them on my Dakota, but others here really made me think twice about it. A lot of towns will arrest you on the spot for impersonating an officer if you were to have them on while driving around town. If you put them on, be EXTREMELY careful that you don't flip the switch driving down the road!

i baught those strobes off of ebay. if you buy them i suggest buying the ones that have the bulb that spirals around rather then the ones that have the bulb thats just a stick. the spirals are brighter then the stick ones (plus the stick ones are really cheap). but either way, that part of the dak's corner lens that dodge seems to have no use for, makes a perfect place to put your strobes. all i did was drill a hole near the mount on the back of the corner light and using a rubber washer to keep water out stuck the strobe in. they look pretty good i think, and they got me extra points at car and truck shows. just be careful when drilling and don't go too far or you'll come out the front and you'll be out one corner lens. good luck with the drilling. dipak

I just bought some red strobes. I plan on putting them in my headlights. I saw some on a vehicle and they definately attract attention. Mine are the stick kind. They are Street Glow.

I have strobes in my front corner lights, 2 in the grill, and 2 in the back-up lights. They are all blue and synchronized with different flash pattern. Very slick looking-they can't be seen until they are turned on. I used all Whelen strobes-top of the line. It was definetely interesting putting them in the corners to say the least!

Being a firefighter though, I get to use mine legally while driving...

Is there room in the corner lens for some kind of standard bulb for parking/marker light? What is the diameter of these strobe bulbs?

The strobes that i put in required a 1" hole to be drilled. They stick into the assembly prob a little more than an inch. Could definetly fit a small bulb in there, but would probably require some work to get it mounted
