i made my own for about 80 dollars, everyone of my friends thought it was a expensive one. i didnt see much improvment if any at all, actually at 1st it seemed like it lost power. spend ur money on other things first then go back to the air intake. if you make it urself tho, u can put the filter in alot more creative ways then if you bought it.

Yea I'm in the same position. I'd like to get a K&N but they dont want to make one for our 3.9.
Air Aid makes one for a decent price compared to some others. Ebay has some for like $50 but for that kind of price I'm not quite sure about it.
I've heard of swaping the TB for one off the V8 (5.2 or 5.9) and getting the kit for those.

they dont make a K&N air intake kits for 3.9's but the 5.2 fits on the 3.9 thats what i did, and as for hp improvement probably like +3 or something minor like that. its nothing your gonna be able to notice.
