 Subject: making a phantom grille

i was wondering if anyone has put a phantom grille on a gen.I particularly an 89 and if so where did you get it i've looked everywhere and just can't find one for dodge. they make em' for toyota mazda chevy and ford so i was thinking it might be possible to buy one for a toyota and cut it to fit my grille with some tin snips. so whatda think??

your best bet would be finding a grille with the same shape as the dakotas (same peak) and is long enough to go over the head lights, modify your healight bezels and cut the grill to fit. make some custom mounts and your good.

good luck, and let me know if you find a grille with the same shape, im looking to make one too eventually, if not, ill prolly end up finding thin wall conduit and tryin to make one that way.
