I was looking at changing to a performance headlight, particularly the Sylvania SilverStar. Does anyone have any experience with these or any other performance headlight? Thanks is advance.

I have the PIAA replacements in my '01. I think it's a dramatic improvement. Simple plug in replacement. But a little pricey.
I've seen the Silverstars, but only from the front of the truck. Seem to be a little too blue. But those that see them from the drivers seat seem to like them.

I put Silverstars in my 2001 Quad Cab earlier this year. They are definately better than the stock ones. I would reccomend them and the price is reasonable.

I would hafta agree with Chas. I have had my silverstars for over a year and I definitely like them more than the stock ones. I noticed that they have more of a white look to them. They are pretty bright w/ my clear headlights too.

I put a set of real HIDs in my 01 CC, was not to hard to install and made the look from inside and outside awhole lot better. I traded a kenwood cd player for them, my friend got them from mr jungs or something like that.
