Hey all. I have a couple of concepts that I'm going to attempt with my '99 3.9L V6 Dakota. I don't have an extended cab, but I'm going to work with what I have.
My first concept is adding a ram air hood molded from a '98 and above Pontiac Trans Am/Firebird WS6 package. My color scheme is black and green. The truck's original paint is black and still in wonderful condition...so on the inside of the ram air intake grilles, I'm going to add small green LEDs to give a glow look to it.
I'll add more later; I want to scan the conceptual sketches to go with the posts so it'll be easier to understand what I'm getting at and maybe someone will have some advice on technical aspects and whatnot...I'm having a little trouble with locations for wiring efficiently and aesthetically....

Later on!

Also, would like some recommendations on wheels and tires for '99 Dakota. I have 17 stock wheels and economy tires on it at the moment, as I am saving up for a better looking setup. Also, I am in Pennsylvania. It snows heavily where I am, and I'm looking for tires that I can leave on year round that would be good in any weather.
Oh, and one more thing, does anyone know where i can get a good price on a susp. lift?

Thanks.

You've got some interesting ideas, that certain.
The hood thing will give you the most trouble, the problem I see is the differing slopes of the two hoods, will be difficult to get the 'look' of the T/A hood scoops right on that Dak hood.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
