Any ideas on what to do with my center console? I have a 2000 4x4 4.7L club cab, with bucket seats. I liked the center console when I bought the truck, but it gets in the way sometimes. Any ideas as to ways to eliminate it or make it moveable of some kind? I was thinking of maybe chopping it down some. Any clues?

I made a custom console with a 5.8 inch lcd screen and a ps2 glassed in. I know this is probably not what you want but if you want to see a pic i'll try to get one out. Anyways this one meets the dash so you could put so gauges where my tv is and the console is low profile...its even with the seats and is removable with the drivers seat out. Its not bolted down.

Are you getting rid of it? I have a 40/20/40 split bench in my '01 4x4 QC, and would like to replace the center seat with a stock console. Mine is the black/grey interior (black truck). I'd be really interested in taking that off your hands if it's the right color. We could swap and you could have the center seat, with the arm rest/console that folds up and out of the way.

Basically, I'm looking for more seating room. Rather have my girl sit right up next to me than all the way across the truck. Already got subs under the rear seat. Any other ideas?
