Phoenix Imaging Hydro-Graphics Group Buy

Hydro-Graphics is a process which can decorate any kind of hard-surfaced, non-porous part, such as plastic or metal, and make it look like a variety of finishes. Some sample finishes include wood grains, carbon fibers, straight wood grains, brushed aluminum, granites, solid colors and more in various shades.

Almost every dash kit I have ever seen looked fake - either the pieces weren't cut/shaped properly for the vehicle, the owner didn't get it stuck on straight, or the edges were peeling up over time. Hydro-Graphics completely covers each part you have processed, and the pattern flows around curves, across vents, etc. In addition having the color and pattern applied, each part is clear coated for a durable finish that looks like it came from the factory. Another advantage of Hydro-Graphics is that you get to choose which pieces will be processed - have as few or as many items done as you wish, use different colors/patterns on different parts, etc.

I saw this technology displayed at SEMA over the past couple of years and was impressed by the displays, and when I bought my 03 Dakota R/T I decided to finally jump in and have it done. I am extremely happy with how my interior turned out, and after receiving a ton of inquiries about who/what/when/where/how I had it done I contacted the company and got this group buy started.

Group Buy Basics:
Orders will be accepted from 10/15/04 until 11/15/04.
All orders will receive a 25% discount off of normal prices.
All group buy participants will receive a 10% lifetime discount on future services from Phoenix Imaging.
You do not need to be a member of any club or group to receive the discount, just mention www.dakota-durango.com when ordering services.
There is no minimum quantity or dollar amounts to participate in the group buy.
Orders are being accepted immediately, there are no group buy quotas to fill.
Parts will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
All orders are run directly through the manufacturer, there is no middleman or markup - I have been helping Dodge Dakota and Durango owners earn discounts on unique parts through non-profit group buys for years.

Pictures of sample pieces, group buy details, information on how to order, etc. are available here:

Because of many requests I measured other parts in my truck that I didn't have processed and got price quotes for them to make it easier for people to decide what they want to have done in their own vehicles.

Another page was added with some helpful pictures and instructions for how to remove some of the more complex interior pieces so they can be sent off to Phoenix Imaging.

The main group buy page was also reconfigured with subpages to make it easier for dial-up users.

Because of the extensive responses, this group buy has been extended to the end of November 2004 per Robyn at Phoenix Imaging.

Full details of the group buy are still posted at http://www.dakota-durango.com/gb_phoenix.htm, and people who got in on the group buy early should have their parts back soon to post more pix of processed Dakota/Durango parts on my site.

I have a recommendation for anyone who has been holding back on this group buy because they're short of funds or because they haven't seen how great this stuff is in person... Send in at least one part that is inexpensive and reasonably easy to replace. This way you will still qualify for the 10% lifetime discount for having more parts done down the road, and if for some reason you don't like it (I dunno how that's possible this stuff is great) you can just sell the processed parts and buy new ones from Sam or John or E-Bay or such.
