I am looking for 16" x 8" or 17" x 8" black
wheels.
All I have found is a set of 15" x 8" by American
Racing.
Anbody out there had better luck?

Only problem I saw was that they don't list any 6x4.5 bolt patterns. But I'm think they will paint any rims sent them.

The American Racing ones are about the only black ones out there for our bolt pattern. I looked everywhere when I got mine. I really like them though.

I've seen locally around here a Durango with the stock rims but painted a high gloss black with kinda like a burgundy center cap. Looks pretty sweet. If I ever see him again, I would like to ask where he got it done. Also there's a red R/T with his stock rims painted a high gloss red, thats pretty sweet too.

I don't know if they are available from the parts counter or not but, the 2001 model year included a "Motorsports Edition" Dakota that has black, cast wheel on them. At least you know they will fit.
It doesn't hurt to check. IMO they look allright for a black rim.

Why not get some wheels powdercoated? I saw some at the last show I went to and they look pretty nice.Also therer is a company called Team Dynamics that make powdercoated wheels.
