Subject: 2002 Ram 20" on a Dak

I bet that if you bought spacers and found some 20's off a 2002 Ram in a junkyard or through a dealership deal they would look pretty tight on a dak. Any comments or suggestions because I would like to do this

i think the offset are differant. also i have not seen a adapter that goes from a 5 lug to a 6 on 4.5" bolt pattern, and if you did find them that would just make the rims stick out that much more of the wheelwell. not to mention, if you got them from the factory they would cost a GRIP.
why not get some aftermarket rims? most companies will custom make them for your aplication

FYI AIM industries do have the adapters.

I agree with you about the spacing though.

Yea, dont think youll be able to get the 20 ram rims, but you can order the 20" R/T dakota rims with proper backspacing and sizing right now, and if you order on pre-order they are really cheap.

Check the group buy or general forum for more info

20's on a ram? News to me. Must be a real special order, dealers here have tons of new Rams, no 20's on any of those. Also, I thought both trucks had 6 lug axles? Not sure about the pattern though.

20s were introduced on the '02 Rams, but not on all models. I've seen several in my area. They style is pretty nice for a factory optioned wheel, but the bolt pattern is different and personally I think wheel adapters are an accident looking for a place to happen.

They're definitely 5, noticed them today and thought how nice they'd look on my truck, but didn't realize there was such a thing as adapters. Stock Ram wheels are 17" .

I have the new 2002 Ram Quad Cab with the 20's. Bought it 3 weeks ago, the dub's are available.
They are sick as hell, but will be even better with lower profile tires.

for the price the dealer charges for the 20" ram wheels, you could probably buy some aftermarket 22" rims. definatly some bi1chen 20" aftermarket's

Id also have to agree, to get the 20" Ram rims from the dealer, then buy the adaptors, your looking at some cash! Then you still have to worry abou them fitting right?

Update: We are doing the 20" R/T rim photoshoot in very early december. SO far we have 6 dakotas coming so we will get a variety of pics on diffrent colors and setups. (We have almost sold half of the pre-orders, get them now while they are still available)

Wonder if could get some 01 Ram 17" Off-Road Wheels/Tires to fit on my 01 Dak 4x4 with body lift? That would be sweet looking...
