 Subject: clear corners that have orange sides????

Just picked up my APC clear corners. They are orange on the sides. Only the curved rectangular section where the #194 bulb goes.
What up with that!!!!!! I thought it would be all clear. (I ordered CLEAR corners, didn't I)
The box says APC 1997 UP DODGE DAKOTA DIAMOND CLEAR CORNER LENS. The part # sticker label says 403032CL-(which is just the plain clear corner). The part # printed on the box directly under the part # sticker label says 403032CLE-(which is the Euro clear corners). Now which ones do I actually have, and most importantly, why is the lens colored orange on the sides?
any help would be much appreciated

D.O.T. demands the amber corners, the "Diamond Euro Clear Corners" meet that requirement. You have to either order the older-style corners, or get the completely crystal clear corners.

My guess is APC will only make whats legal. You can buy lights made in Taiwan, they more than likely don't care if its legal. The Taiwan lights won't be quite as good but they work and are all clear.
I got mine on Ebay and I had to splice in the side light wire.
Go to Summit Racing they sell APC but they also sell another brand made in Taiwan and your light sockets will plug in with no wire modification required.

i just got soem that were all clear off ebay and i didnt even have to splice lights. they look awesoem. i got them from focusmotorsports (?) i beieve. decent price for a good product. try ebay. ~Ryan
