I want to install a remote/keyles entry lock into my tailgte to accompany my tonneau cover for security. My 2000 QC Sport 4x4 has a tailgate that seems to be 1 piece, with no maintenance hatch or removeable cover. Has anyone else installed one of these puppies and how did you gain entry to the guts of the tailgate? I appreciate your help...

OK, I did some more searching and found that the Dak's are installed by playing gynocologist and going through the handle opening. No Problem. Then I learned that the Pace Edwards Powergate is the best out there. No problem. Wait...it costs more than I expected. Ehh... No Problem. Then I read that the Powergate has been discontinued, and that there is an alternative PopNLock Electric tailgate lock.

Anyone have any feedback? I can still get the Powergate, but I'm just looking for some buyer savvy experiences..

Nevermind. I bought the Pop&Lock system. Less expensive and tamperproof.
