Before I try to install them does anyone have any tips on how to do this. like if I need specail screws or anything like that? I have no doubt these will look great after seeing other trucks on this site.
Thanks in advance
Ed

I pulled 2 wires thru the firewall on the drivers side. I tried LED lights before and they did not work properly, so I did not wire up the turn signal part. I spliced the 2 wires to the clear corner parking light. From both mirrors, I ran 2 wires and made a connection box under the dash and connected up the lights from both mirrors to the 2 wires that I pulled thru the firewall. Mirrors light up when turning on parking lights. I assume that you could pull 2 more wires thru the firewall and splice them to the turnsignal lights and run another wire from each mirror and connect up the turn signals.

I tapped into a wire on the back of the headlight switch ..so they come on with my parking /headlights...still gotta figure out the turn-signal part. Not sure if the rear light wiring harness runs through the cab or not.

Tell you what - I am MORE interested in how to hook up the power mirror option.

I have black/red/white wires off the mirror and the dakota has blue/green/white wires off the switch. I tried a few combinations but just not getting it. No instructions came with the mirrors from my ebay purchase and the person selling them would not respond after the sale.

Anyone know? Im pretty sure the blue wire on the Dak is the ground. I KNOW the black wire on the mirror is ground. Red controls the up/down motor and the white controls the l/r motor. So, I have tried, but not getting much results. Battery straight to the mirror wires tells me the motors all work fine.

Anyone with experience????
