Hey everyone... I figured everyone may be interested in knowing some latest news about Trenz Billet accessories, and Sport Truck Direct...
I recently ordered a 2/4 Western Chassis, Doetsch Tech Drop Shocks (rear) and a Trenz Billet Grill for my 1992 Kota LE....
Come to find out, the western chassis kit is back ordered, so they substituted (they worded it as “upgraded me to”) my kit with the belltech kit free of charge (duh its 10$ cheaper guys... I called them on it, and they refunded me the 10$)...
The shocks are great, got those already... drop should be here tomorrow.
NOW - ON the BILLET grill... this is a real crock. Trenz lists a billet grill for the 88-92, the 93-96, and the 97 to current... WTF - WHO is screwed up here??? I have a 92, and we all know the 91-96s have the same grill shell so I ordered the one for the 93-96 and was quoted 149.99. Come to find out, I was quoted for the latest model trucks and I'm SOL, and the grill is 169.99 (ok, I give, 20$ - their mistake, but fair really...)
What pisses me off is that Trenz KNOWINGLY mis-lists these grills for our trucks, and I have tried and tried to contact them, and finally sent a nice little nasty gram in reference to it all. I talked to "someone" (whose name shall remain anonymous) at Sport Truck Direct, and I guess their clearing out all Trenz products and will not be carrying their merchandise anymore because of how much they #@*# up.... go figure?
Input is VERY welcome....
I’m not bashing Sport Truck Direct (their one of the BETTER places to order from), their customer service is very helpful, and they continue to make me happy every time I order, or call them for help. Be sure if you have to order something, order it from these guys, their fair, and they have fairly fast shipping so your not waiting for months unless of course something is on backorder… then it gets Drop Shipped direct from the manufacturer.
