 Subject: Drop coil springs

Hello, I just bought a new 2001 club 2wd, V6. I have just ordered a 2"/4" drop kit from western chasis.
The kit comes with new drop coil springs, which provide the 2" drop. First, before I start taking the wrench to my truck, and becuase the kit did not come with instructions, I would like advice on the best way to remove and install these new springs. Is this something an average Joe can do?
I plan on starting the install next weekend, so any help is appreciated.

IF you have not done so already, buy a Chilton or Hayes repair manual. It's a small investment and takes (most of) the guess work out of simple repairs, replacements such as that. I think Chilton manuals are a little more descriptive in their wording, but Hayes manuals have actual photos which can be helpful.
