After 31 days of anticipation, dissapointment, dozens of phone calls, I finally have a hood and grille I can use. Placed my order on Sept. 12 was told 7-10 days. Shipper calls and tells me he has my stuff and is ready to deliver it. No problem. I'm at work, mom signs for the hood and the guy puts it in the garage. I get home from work all excited, been waiting all day to see what it looks like. Open the box only to find the whole corner of the hood broke off. Call Cervini's and they say it's the shippers fault I'll have to call them. Ok, call the shipper. They tell me I have to fill out a damage claims form and fax a copy of the receipt and the shipping invoice. No problem, done. Then I call to make sure they got and see what to do next. They tell me a claims investigator will look at it and get back with me. I asked how long it will take and they say it all depends. Anywhere from 4-8 weeks. Well I can't wait around for all that to order another hood so I call Cervini's back. They tell me just to order another hood and it'll be shipped out right away. I figure no problem I'll get my money back from the shipper later I just want my hood. So I order it and am told 5-7 days. Few days go by, shipper calls to deliver another package. This time I'm home and open the box at the road with the shipper standing right there only to find... corner broke off AGAIN! So we look at the box and the way it's packaged. We both agreed they are packing it wrong. They put the pointed ends down and the flat edge aiming up. So I call Cervini's again and tell them I got the second hood and it's broke too. He tells me just to decline the shipment and he's sending out another one. Third hood finally got here. It's a little scratched up but at least it's not broken. The funniest part is while my uncle was here I was telling him about it and as soon as he heard the name Cervini's he said no way! My cousin works for an airline company and drives a rustang (garbage I know) My cousin went through 3 hoods also. After the third one he carried the broken hood back personally and picked up a new one. One last thing. The finish on the hood and grille I got from them is by far the worst finish I've seen. There is no reason why a $80 APC roll pan should be smoother than a $439 hood and $249 grille. The edges have deep swirls from where they sanded it and there are lines where it looks like the gel coat was too thin.

Well, you just got unlucky. i purchased the side exaust kit from them and it came in 3 days. I took it to be painted and everything fit like a glove. no scraches swirls or nothing. sounds to me like the person u had paint it didnt prep it right

Can you believe this one... Three hoods $1200 and 31 days and your the unlucky one. One side exhast kit no swirls or scratches... MAYBE YOUR THE LUCKY ONE... I like Cervinis Products but I've heard quality issues about them before.

thats nothing. It took 4 hoods to get my Reflexion cowl hood right!!!

1st hood - shipped to my house (3 weeks later) when i was gone. i had to call shipping co. and argue with them for hours until they agreed to pick it back up. Another hood sent out

2nd hood - papers got lost so they lost my address. it sat in the shipping co. main building for 3 days. i wait a week and wonder where this hood is so i call the shipping co. they told me its been sitting there for 3-4 days and they never even called me to tell me that! BS! 3rd hood shipped out 2 days later

3rd hood - shipped to my house when i was there and corner was dented and all bent up. POOR PACKAGING! this was sent back immediately with no questions asked. 4th was sent

4th hood - arrived at my house 1 week later, in good condition. this had 2 small dent on the top but werent visible at the time when i inspected. it cost me $32 to fit the dents but i didnt give a sh-t. i wanted my hood on! hood is on now and couldnt have looked better!

PS - i almost bought the Cervini's hoodbut i heard that most of them come damaged and take a few tried to get them undamaged. little did i know that reflexions is the same way!!

I recieved mine undamaged but it did have the deep swirls in it and some pits and holes underneath where it looked like there was a air bubble in the fiberglass when they made it. It could come ready to primer form not have to spend 10 hours sanding the dang gel coat smooth. Never will I buy from them again.

DAMN!! i'm gonna need a new hood sometime. i read this post so i think "OK, f**k cervinis; reflexxions steel hoods should be more durable anyway".
now Matt kinda spoiled THAT!! :) i think i'll probably still take my chances with them tho. it sounded more like bad shipping there, and steel's gonna be better than glass anyway. i just wish they had another steel hood other than just the cowl hoods! peace

Reflexions just doesnt like to package their sh*t right. if you buy from them, you'll eventually get your hood......it might take 5 weeks but you'll get it, lol

i chose the steel hood over the cowl because i heard that the fiberglass hoods tend to be less sturdy when bolted on for more than a year. i heard of one guy's hood actually cracking where it bolts on! thats why i went with the steel

Hood arrived today with no cracks, dents, swirls or breakage. Phew! Sorry to hear you guys had such a hard time. I will say that the way they package the hood could've been better. I see how corners were broken off. That end should be up the top. How they are handled in transit also plays a fairly big role in the condition it arrives in. I'm so happy I only have to go through one hood.

Sorry it took so long to get back on here I just got back from a wedding in FL. This hood is all in one piece but like I said before the finish leaves something to be desired.

GOWOP, paint/prep has nothing to do with it. No point in prep/paint if it's cracked, i'm talking raw materials here.

Final outcome is I called the credit card company and we are disputing the payment. No way should I pay full price plus all the shipping for thier errors.

Damn guys.. sounds to me like these are some cheap ass hoods to manufactue and paint and ship cause the company must know its gonna take 4 times to do it right.. if they actually made good hoods they would have better people working for them...


sh*t though now im kinda scared cause i just ordered my 12 peice body kit from wings west and comparing this ratio 12 peices probably aint gonna hold up.. ill let you know in 3-4 days cause its been 3 weeks already

mojo, if not not mistaken, u shouldn't have anything to worry about there; cuz i'm pretty sure WW kits are urethane, not fiberglass. and urethane flexes...ALOT, it shouldn't break. peace

I got my Cervinni ramair hood and it was damaged in shipping also BUT it all worked out great because the money I got from insurance was enough to fix it and paint it.It looks great and cost me nothing to fix or paint.

i have a sniper bumper cover,grille, and the ss hood got it in 5 days!there are no damages to any of them no swirls and they look great go on Get Cervini's!

Still disputing the payment... I called to ask if they wanted the old hood so I could get a partial refund. He tells me he can't do anything about that I'll have to talk to (don't remember name) and he's not in yet but as soon as he gets in he'll have him call me. Never hear back. 2 days later call them back. This time I guess so-and-so is there and he tells me that I'll have to call the shipper and ask for a return shippment. So now I call the shipper. They tell me the person that it's going to has to do that. So I call cervinis back. He tells me they can't get the shipper to do a free of lading shipment or something. I said well what if I pay to ship it back because I only want a partial credit. He says yes thats a possiblity. So I ask how much of a partial refund they'll give me before I go shipping it back. He says hold on let me check with (don't remember name) and then comes back. He now tells me the shipper paid for the claim so I can't ship it back and there wouldn't be any refund. I said well if someone would have told me I wasn't going to get the 10% off on the re-order and pay shipping again I would have made the claim for more money. Was told every order is treated as a new order. I said yes but this was a RE-ORDER. When I talked to them on the phone about the hood the second time I was told and I quote, "We'll just do a re-order, I have all your information here and we'll get one out to you as soon as possible, should be about a week." End result was a 10 minute convo on the difference in an order and a re-order after which I still got no where and was forced to pay full price. On top of all this I open my phone bill one night to find a $200 phone bill. My cell phone bill is normally $65. I never go over because most of my talking is at night when it's free (1800+ minutes a month) but to talk to cervinis and the shipper I have to call during the day while at work or on the way to work.

I'll post back after I finish the credit card dispute and everything.

Cervinis is an a--hole! Don't buy their fiberglass trash. You're just throwing your money away buying fiberglass.

Go to Ram Air Hood and get a real ram air hood made from OEM material that doesn't crack or warp! http://www.ramairhood.com

I have a ram air hood, front grill peice with jus the single break in the front instead of the dodge cross, the sniper kit except the front bumper including the roll pan side skirts, and the duct tail wing all with in a week with nothing wrong during shipping and there are no swirls but that was a year ago tho

tight and safe, they fit perfectly with no gaps. The fiberglass is
pressed tight and there already prepped for paint outta the
