Subject: Dash panels

Message:
I was wondering if anyone had any sites with pictures (or pictures from their own trucks) of how to take panels off of the dash? I have a 2001 Dakota and was wanting to change some of my panels to red on the dash. I've already started this with the AC vents. I also want to change the panels around the windshild and the "Oh **** Bars to black. I'd also like to do so with the carpeting up top. Any help is appriciated.

I'd also consider some fiberglass panels if anyone knows where I can get some, but only if I can find them at a decent price. I will also consider making my own, but I wouldn't know how to mount them back where they go. Thanks in advance!!

to be more specific, I'm speaking of the one around the Stereo Head Unit and Climate Controls. I can't tell if it's attached to the main dash or not. I would like to take it off and change it out. It doesn't look that great to me, especially with that grid pattern on it.

Lower ur steering wheel and there are 2 srews above the gauges and then just pop it off. be careful of your air vents and wires on the ac/heater controls. The radio isnt attatched to it so your ok there. I believe thats it

my steering wheel isn't tilt. is there no way I can just take that part off, or is it molded completely to the dash. I didn't know if there were any hidden screws or anything so I could just take that part off, cause I have to drive this every day.
