 Subject: Painting Grille Inserts

I recently bought those Grille-Tech inserts for my 2002 Dak. I actually do like them alot. They were very easy to install and I didn't have to get rid of the stock grill. I purchased the black powdercoated ones. I have noticed that the paint has started to come off a slight bit on a very small part of the grille. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Can I repaint the grille black and maybe clear coat it? What kind of paint can be put over this powder coated grille so it doesn't crack? Any suggestions?
