does anybody know if they make a ventshade that fits inside the window molding? all of them i have found you mount on the outside of the truck over the window, the ones i had on my old ranger went on the inside, do they make them for the dakota? its a 03 CC

AutoVentshade company makes both the exterior and interior types of Ventvisors. You can order them from either Summit Racing Gear or from Stylin Concepts. They both cost the same. I bought the exteriors cause i heard the window slot mounted ones scratch your windows... any truth to that?

well with the ones on my ranger, i had no problames with it scratching them, the only reason i was wanting the ones that went on the inside was i heard the ones on the outside water gets in side if you have your windows down, right around where the mirrior is?

Yeah there is a small gap around the mirror on the exterior ones that causes water to leak up into the window when its opened. It sorta sucks, but it also lets air into the gap which blows water away from your window, which is cool after you wash your car.

DrawTite makes a vent visor that snaps into the window channel for about $40. I have them on my 2000 Dakota. Work well and look nice.

a company by the name weathertech makes one that fits inside the window channel. i got mine at a place called truckin america here in wisconsin for $65. it's a lighter smoke color but they work really good, nice tight fit that's not going to come out. i've got a 98, and i think they make them for the newer daks.

i have some smoked EGR in channel vent visors for 20$
i had them on my 00 cc front windows, but took them off when i had my windows tinted.
i got em all boxed up because somebody already deadbeat me on em.
