I'm lookin at gettin the stillen bumper cover for my 97 dakota and was just wonderin how easy it is to install it. Can i do it myself easily or should I get someone to do it for me. I don't know to much about it so just let me know.

It is a very easy install. The stillen bumper cover goes over
your factory bumper and valance. You simply place it using
doublesided tape and a few bolts under your left and right
wheel wells.

I just called stillen and the guy told me that the bumper cover is two peices it just looks like one. for both of the peices he said it would be $430. Anybody know what hes talkin about?

Talk to John Mercedes (a good guy) at www.southeastrt.com. I got mine for $275 shipped. John gets it shipped from Stillen. Mine was a one piece, taped and screwed in at the wheel wells. I haven't seen nor heard about a two piece bumper cover.

The two piece is made by xenon. I ordered the top piece on accident and lost 60$ on the deal. It covers the hard black plastic and another covers the bottom.

yes i have a 98 dakota and i was wondering if i can change the top front bumper to red because its black and i like the bottom front bumper because it has a cool desighn and its red. what can i do to change it, do i have to paint it or is there covers to put over it changing them red and if there is where can i get them. please if you can tell me that would be great.
