Subject: Installed Stillen Bumper Cover
IP: Logged

Message:
Got my Stillen bumper cover back from the painter today, $150 (good friend). I installed it in about 2hours (took my time, it's not a race!). I chose to secure it with stainless hardware at the wheel wells and the bottom of the cover and also used the double sided tape.

What a difference it made, it gave the truck a totally new look. I am using Grill Craft inserts in the grill and the stock bumper, and the bumper insert fits perfectly in the Stillen cover. It just needed a little "reshaping" with only my hands and thighs, no big deal.

My truck is white with silver Grill Craft inserts and clear front corners. It looks great without that black bumper! Very cool.

$300 for the Stillen (delivered)
$150 paint
$10 hardware

I would post a pic if I wasn't so damn computer stupid! I have the pics on my "desktop" and I can e-mail them, but I have no idea how to post them.

I would love to e-mail pics to someone who could post them for me. What can I say, I'm 36 years old and am glad I can turn the stupid thing on!

My truck is one of the very cleanest on the road, to bad I can't prove it.

Congrats Darryl,

I just installed mine about a month ago. Even though the cover is not lower than stock, the Stillen make the dak look cleaner and lower. I got to update my profile.
