I JUST GOT MY DAK EXTERIOR FINISHED:19" KMC VENOMS,S.S GRILL,AIR DAM,INSERTS,REFLEXXIONS COWL HOOD,3 PC BED SPOILER, XENON ROLL PAN,LOWERED 3/5,TAILLIGHTS,AND A FRESH JET BLACK PAINT JOB.THAT JUST THE EXTERIOR, INTERIOR IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY. PROBLEM IS I"VE HAD IT DONE FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS AND SOME PUNK KID WENT OUT AND COPIED MY TRUCK ALMOST TO THE STICKER ON MY REAR WINDOW. NOW I'M THINKING THAT THIS THING MIGHT LOOK KICK ASS AS A CONVERTIBLE ANY THOUGHTS?

Is your truck a regular cab? I've only seen regular cab ford f-150's, and chevy's do the convertable thing,,Looks pretty smooth in my opinion.
Never seen a dakota,,but I bet it would look sweet as well.
I hate it when people copy you,,there's some punk at my working doing the same thing,,, I just wanna smack him. I don't mind someone modding there truck,,but when they totally follow you mod for mod,,it really Fu#%ing annoying... I feel your pain.

Ive been thinking of doing the convertable to my dak for a while now. I think it would looks sweet. How hard do you think it would be. I would love to see how one turns out, so i think you should do it!

yeh mine is a reg cab. the only problem i see is hacking away at the doors around the upper sides. they need to be able to re-attatch to the doors.i think a conv. with a nice looking roll bar would look really sweet almost give it one of those new chevy sst appeals. and bye the way people who copy others need to be shot, at least. does'nt the word "custom" have any meaning to it.
