i'd like to drop mine a little bit too. maybe 2 inches at the most. These trucks are so ugly with all that wheel well space. I put 20's on it and it still didn't fill it up. Looks goofy. For those of you that wanted larger wheels but were worried about performance, mine work great. The only problem is that there is less traction in the mud, and it's hard not to worry about scuffing the wheels.

i have an 87 4x4 with 225x75x15s on it, and i cranked the torsion bars down about 2 inchs for the summer, just so it closed the wheel gap a bit and looked a little better. once winter rolled around, i cranked them back up to level the ride height. in my opinion, the ride was a little more bouncy, but hey, you gotta make a sacrafice or 2.

this summer i plan on puttin 17s on it with 255x50x17 tires and im goin to get a set a 2wd shackles or hangers and try to get them to work. with all of this, it hoping to amount the drop to a 2 inch front drop and drop the rear to level it out (4 or 5 inch drop).

has any one ever tried 2wd shackles or hanger on a 4x4? im not lookin to go all out low rider, i just wanna close up the wheel gaps a bit and have it handle better. a few inch drop in the rear is all i want.

OO by the way...to everyone who thinks this is dumb, why dont you all go find somethin a little more important to bitch about, and to people that have thought about lowering your 4x4, im glad im not the only one out there.
