What is the best size tires for stock 17x9 R/T rims? My 02 cc R/T is at stock height not lowered. I was wondering what is the widest and lowest profile I can go with without it looking stupid?

nitto 450's... 275/50/17's. 130 each from discount tire direct (free shipping).. is the most common most of all the r/t guys i know use. hook up good and have a nice tread pattern. theyre stock height so you dont have to recal the speedo.

um, the best ones are 305/40/17 in back and 295/45/17 in front by toyo. look so nice

yes, it is a wrong profile if u have stock hieght, my RT is dropped 4/6 (c-notch,etc) so they look normal.

Ben, do you have some pics of your rt?? Is it lowered 4/6 with still using the rt suspension, making it actually a 5/7 compared to a dakota sport?? Im wondering because i have a sport, and i am thinking of going 4/6 and im trying to find dakotas that low. thanks

no pics yet, but there is one company that sells the 5/7 kit for dak sports and i called them once and was curious if that low would require a c notch ,they said no, kinda hard to believe. anyways that company is AIM
