Hey

Today I went to the junkyard, after looking around for 30 minutes i finally find a Dakota, 88 Dakota. I went there with intentions of finding a new dash to replace my "wood" trim dash, and this was perfect, the plain black one. Got the big piece and the drink holder piece in perfect condition for a grand total of $5.95

I have this installed right now, I will take some pics tomorrow, to compare to my wood, which looks better. My plan is to paint the black one, so if i mess up, I have something to fall back on.

Good deal. I paid $35 at a junkyard for the same two pieces out of a '95, for my '95 to replace my wood trim.

Yeah, my 1990 is in the process of gettn a new do too. Got both of mine for $15. It was also black. I preped it, painted it and all but the blue just doesnt match my trucks blue metalic. So Im n the process of trying to find a paint shop who will custom fill spray can with my custom color, which is of my trucks blue. Well see what happens.
