Subject: 4x2 Wheel Well Molding Avail?
IP: Logged

Message:
I am thinking of trading in my 2000 QC 4x4 Auto 3.55's 4.7L V8 for a number of reasons & buying a 2002 QC 4x2 5 spd 3.92's 4.7L V8. I am more into performance & there are many more aftermarket mods for the 4x2/manual tranny. I have to admit I really love the look of the molding on the wheel well of my 4x4 & was wondering if anyone knows of a place that could make it for the 4x2 since it doesn't look like it is offered as an option from Dodge on the 4x2.

Fender flare, ya that's what I was trying to say. Looks like Performance combos offers them for Dodge by Xenon. They call it a sport fender flare & they go for around $229.95 If anyone has more/different info it will still be apprecitaed.

You can order them through your dealer. Be sure to specify that you want the ones from the Dodge Trucks Accessory Catalog. They run about $260 for the set of four, pre-painted in the factory colors. Don't let them order the repair parts, or the flares will cost you about $100 EACH. I put a set on my 2000 QC 4x2, and they look pretty sweet.

Dan, thanks for the info, you da man. I really love the look of the 4x4 with fender flares & have spent a lot of time thinking about how to lower mine to get that low profile look but it will be costly. Knowing I can get flares for a 4x2 I will probably do the trade. Now I can get the perfromance of the 5 speed, the look of the 4x4, & the handling of the 4x2, ya baby!

2000 QC 4x4 Auto 3.55's 4.7L V8 soon to be:
2002 QC 4x2 5 speed 3.92's 4.7L V8 fender flares.
