well, i THINK mine's about 4or4.5" in front (not counting the new, smaller tires) and 5.5" in back. it's 3" springs w/ alittle less than a coil cut off. and 4"blocks with a leaf taken out.
Definitely get a c-notch (i think phatdak is still sellin em cheap on here); i have 1 but haven't put it in yet. i've never rubbed tire in the back, the frame hits the axle first. my back tires are A LITTLE smaller than stock(.44") but a little wider (235/50/18). Never rubbed with the stocks tho.
In front, it never rubbed with the stocks either. with the same size tires as in back, it rubbed a little over bad speed bumps fast, or thru bumpy hard turns. I put smaller tires in front(235/40/18) and it never rubs. if u have the fender flares, you'll rub alot. with my doetsch tech shocks, it rides awesome too; except for bottoming out(which the c-notch will fix). it KINDA cambers in front, but haven't had ANY bad tire wear.
Tried to write alot to help. if there's anything else, i can prolly help more. Peace
-Dan
The gaps actually look kinda big in this pic. i think it goes up and down different days:)

More pics here: (some old ones have all 4 same tires)

Nice truck UFD...

i dont know what i am lowered but my axle fits up in the monster notch i made and the front end is just as low...

you need some smaller than stock tires to go that low... i am personally using a 245/60/15 on mine... and they barely fit.

brad, no ididnt have the flares (V6 sport). u didn't say if u have em tho. i'll assume u dont.
for tires, with a 4/6, depends on how wide the rims are, and hopefully they'll tuck! i wouldn't go wider than 8.5" wide; any bigger, not too many rims have the backspacing to tuck enuff.
for 17s i'd go with 50 maybe 45 series (RTs have 55series) depending on how wide the rims, from 225/(maybe 55 for that narrow) to 245(45 here)
for 18s: 45 series from 225/(maybe 50) to 245/45(what i'll be gettin in back soon).
I can understand this myself, but if its confusing, i'll try to clear it up; but it's kinda hard to name all the tires w/o knowing what size rims, u know? glad to help! Peace

(closer up of 235/50/18s)

my 1999 dakota r/t is lowered 4"/5". it rubs when i hit big bumps and i cant go over speed bumps because my body hits the ground. i'll post pics when i get it back from the engine shop.

also, i'm going to be selling my R/t 17's with tires soon because i'm going to get 20's. will it rub with 20's on?

Matt, it depends on the size of the tires, and the backspacing/width of the 20s. since u have an RT with the flares, you'll probably still rub. but u can get 20" tires that'll keep the overall rim+tire diameter the same as the 17s, even smaller really. if yours only rubs on the flares now, if the 20s tuck more, u might not rub. like i said, depends on the width and backspacing of the 20s, and how low profile the tires are. Hope this helps. Peace

Hi Guys I'm new to the lowered seen but, my friend just bagged his 98 GMC. So I got hooked. I'm gonna be getting a Quad Cab in a month or 2 and I wanna Bag it with 20's if possible. Can you guys give me an Idea of what Spacing and tire size I should get as well as bag system to reduce as many potential problems I may encounter.

Thanks Rob
