 Subject: Grille/Hood Mod

I'd like to modify my grille so that it's permanently affixed in the "closed" position, and the hood opens up normally, separate from the grille.
Anyone know how this is done?

yea u dummy, u take off the grill shell, seperate the hood latch from the hood and affix it to the back of the shell, then ur done. and grab a beer

Well, damn! I had no idea it was that simple. You're sure helpful, f u ck er.
I don't know if I could have figured that stuff out on my own.....
Now.....what would you suggest for mounting the grille shell to the bumper? I mean, that sorta IS the tough part......

make metal mounts and weld em to the bumper. then use fiberglass and lay down a good 4 layers. sand and paint. did mine in 6 hrs on a saturday and i grabbed more then one beer lol
