Don't get that rollpan. it doesnt even have a picture of it, it might look like crap! My rollpan i currently have is APC. It's fiberglass and it only cost me 85$ from Stylinconcepts.com .

But, i had to get it professionaly installed because it would not fit correctly! it fits now and looks really good. Also, i had to make my own light for it. I went to auto zone and bought a light for 3$ and used the bumper wiring and drilled it in and it works good.

The total price for it bought $85, painted $30, and installed $40, was $155. I think thats a good buy. Here's a pic of the rear of my truck.

My rollpan doesnt flutter around. I go around 115 mph and it still doesnt flutter, but again, I had to pay $ to get it professionally installed. If u plan on installing it yourself, i reccommend a steel one. but if not, get the fiberglass one, its cheaper and looks better.

steel roll pans are the way to go. you can't mold a fiberglass one to the body, and who really wants to see body lines.

molding non-metal is one of the worst things to do. have you ever tried to mold fiberglass to metal it doesnt happen. it crack and nothing looks right. i don't care how much reinforcement you put behind the roll pan the seem between the 'glass and metal is gonna crack, i am 99% sure. plus if anyone is from cold weather areas they know that 'glass can be terrible in the winter, i don't know how many cracked 'glass panels i see because of the weather.

Sr. Michaels or a steel one are the only way to go. My buddy had a fiberglass one on his truck and within a year it was staring to crack

I have had it on for about 4 months now and everyone thinks its a factory roll pan. Thats how perfect the look is with the body lines. I have absolutely had NO problems with this roll pan and installatiion was easy.

DakSport--I just mounted the plate & license plate frame to the pre-drilled holes in the roll pan. It seems to fit perfect to me.

Is there an other way, or did I do something wrong?

The light was a flush mounted halogen that Sir Michaels provided with the roll pan. It looks great in the day and at night.

My roll pan had a rectangular cut-out in the top of the license plate cut-out. The halogen light mounted up flush and is held in place with 2 screws. The wires had to be spliced into the factory harness, but that was simple. You should contact Sir Michaels if you did'nt receive that setup. It may have been something they did recently to their roll pans or something they forgot to put in your package? That halogen light is much brighter than the factory lights and fits nicely. Good luck
