I wanted to know if bedrugs were good. What
kind are the best? I want to get rid of my

I've heard the Bedrugs are higher quality over Steel Horse, but I haven't seen a Steel Horse so I don't know for sure. I am very impressed with Bedrugs. They look great and apparantly hold up well. But they should considering the price difference ;-)

I went with the steelhorse carpet kit. the bedrug is better but also cost's more. you get what you pay for. im thinking of getting rid of it and building a custom bed kit for my truck.I also have a tonneu cover and with the carpet kit it's like I have a huge trunk. the spray on bed liner might scratch some things (if your worried about that)

The Spray in ones at least with Line-x and Rhino and permanent and wont scratch anything because they will never come out. I bought a 98 v6 with a drop in and my bed is scratched to hell. So when I get some $$$ Im going to pay for line-x. My friend has line-x and it looks awesome.

Just had over-the-rail Line X 'installed' last week. I am extremely impressed with the finished look and quality - even several friends with Rhino liners agreed the finish is nicer than theirs.

It sounds like you were interested in a rug to begin with. Even if you go that route, you may want to do Line-X first, then put the bedrug over that. Why? You have a drop-in in there now and chances are it has scratched up and wore the paint off of parts of your bed. If you don't get that re-painted or Line-X'ed you're going to start rusting underneath. With the Line-X you'll be well sealed and protected. Also, that way, if you ever want to haul anything just take out the rug and you're ready to rumble.
