the hood is located in the bay area california, the color is silver, but the paint job does have imperfections mainly a swirl mark from a water jug i laid on the hood(ya i know).

just an FYI, I didn't want to keep mine either but selling it is kind of a problem with shipping charges and all. I think a brand new stock hood is only $240 bucks. A body shop can buy one at about $ 150 bucks. So I ended up selling mine to a local body shop for $100 bucks
and was done with it. just my solution, you can do what ya want.
