Well let me explain! I first removed that rubber guard next to the radiator like I seen a lot of people do!! I have the K&N FIPK and when I removed the rubber guard I noticed that the heat shield from the K&N was blocking about 95% of cold air goin to the Filter! I took some measurements and with some bending and minor cutting the shield fit so that most of the air coming in through the grill was going straight to the K&N instead of the engine bay! I also didn't want to remove the heat shield totally. I cant notice any difference on the street but I'm sure it does make a difference! Maybe a couple thousandths off my time! Who knows!!! I'll find out this summer when I take it to the track! I'll have some pics of it up as soon as I get a camera!
