Bold statement huh?! But i can say for damn sure that this is THE MOST INSANE-LOOKING DAKOTA i've ever seen!! U'll prolly either love it or hate it, but u gotta admit it's wild! Digitalwheels.net i guess got some shots from the making of the Fast and Furious II movie, and THERE IS A DAKOTA IN IT!! (and i think a ram) TONS of pics on the website!

I know the truck isint the best looking one anyone has ever seen, but that thing has 420HP with a Richmond 6 speed tranny to compliment it. Cornering & Handling ability is supposed to match that of sports cars. Its called the SR-71 Bullet, you can read all about it here. SR-71 Bullet

I agree - it doesn't look ricer-ish at all. For one thing, that is not a ricer colour. It does look italian-exotic. I'm not a big fan of european sports cars, but to each their own. I'm sure a lamborghini owner wouldn't want my dak either. But then, I like my dak better. :)

that kit is whats called the " sr-71 bullet" it is a complete frame up reworking of the dakota. it includes viper disc brakes front and rear, roll cage, the full custom body kit which is 99% fibreglass, and a "supposedly" 900 hp motor with dual shaker hood. saw the prototype two years ago up here in canada of all places. this was meant for club cabs only. as for looks it has no resembelance of a dakota from the cab back. a custom viper 6 speed manual transmission also compliments it. was obviously never meant for any kind of high production as the price for this kit was 110 000 cdn for it and you supply the dakota. the maker of the kit was very questionable at best when we spoke as he was going to offer the upgrades in pieces (such as the viper brake kit, the engine, body kit all seperate if so desired). i had intended to purchase the engine, after a month or two of getting run around, i got a "this phone number has been diconnected." very interesting in my opinion.

$110k cnd thats a little much. the website that LiveDakota gave gives some info on it but the 900hp is really like 420hp. i don't know about any of u but i would never pay $110k for that half truck half sports car thing!

I've seen that truck on T.V. If it's the same one (it was probably 2 yrs ago) it's owned by a High school student and the rear deck was fabbed from a camaro. this guy had a one off kit that his father engineered and it's a daily driver. I don't recall the engine though.
