Has anyone installed tweeters in the Dalk? I have added a kenwood head unit which powers 4 Rockford Fosgate 6 1/2" speakers and a sony amp which powers my thunderform....I want to add tweeters and an amp for the Fosgates..Anyone have suggestions on mounting locations? I was thinking on the little triangle on the upper part of the door behind the side view mirrors. (Gen III) also, can the tweeters just be bridged of of the front speakers?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Thats exactly where my stock Infinities are located. You can bridge them off the front speakers just make sure you use somehting to filter out all low and mid range.

You would probably be better off dumping one pair of the 6.5's for a set of 6.5 components. They are USUALLY better quality and they come with a seperate crossover so you don't hurt yout tweets. Watch for the sensitivity ratings. Components are usually rated lower than coaxial speakers. That means with the power being equal the coxials will be much louder than the components. That can be adjusted by the gain on your amps as long as it isn't a huge difference. I have Orion NT 6.5 components and the tweets are sitting on the front dash held in place by double sided tape. I want to sink them but am afraid to cut holes in the dash by the windshield. What if there is a part of the frame that won't allow the tweet to flush mount? That would suck. So until I find someone alse to be the test subject I will just wait. I had thought about the triangles but had never seen a picture. Good luck

Dan
